Helping-Humanity does not want to reinvent the wheel, we see it as a bridge to bring together other non-profits wanting to help reinvigorate Memphis. Once we find what need or service is lacking, Helping-Humanity will work to fill that void or need.

Scope of the Corporation:

To help humanity, help themselves, through educating and training, empowering them, to learn to support themselves and their families.

To help put the city and county homeless population into permanent stable housing and giving them the services and case management they need by offering them training, jobs, support and education.

Bring the average median wage up and the unemployment rate down in Memphis and Shelby County, by hiring the unemployed and underemployed. Giving them training and employment in corporate businesses while paying a living wage, and offering them benefits. Working with the local unions to help recruit apprentices into their training programs giving them avenues to make a higher wage with benefits.

Rehabilitate existing vacant buildings and hotels to provide shelter, vocational and rehabilitational training to runaways, children aging out of foster care, veterans, homeless and abused women.

To remove neighborhood blight through buying or donation of boarded up, rundown, abandoned and foreclosed houses; rehabilitate them using skilled trained labor and sell them back to company employees, and  low income families to help bring stability back to communities.

To work with local community development corporations, building communities through the support of community gardens on vacant land, helping said communities support themselves with the profit of those gardens through local markets ran and managed by those communities, while beautifying these communities.

To lower Memphis and Shelby County’s carbon footprint by working with local non-profits to help hire, and train its citizens the techniques of farming; utilizing the large vacant areas of land in Frayser and North Shelby County, allowing them to grow and raise fresh organic produce, free range livestock and dairy products, and making a profit by selling to local restaurants and grocery stores bringing jobs, and income to the local communities.

Through the implementation of these ideas, bring vitality back to the city of Memphis and Shelby County through increased property tax, and use tax revenues.
